V EYE P Eyecare & Eyewear was established in June 2010 and I would like to take this opportunity to thank our patients for choosing us to be your eyecare and eyewear providers.
I graduated in 2003 from The University Of Auckland in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Optometry Degree with Honors. Thereafter, I began my professional career in private practice where I provided eye care in multiple practices within the Auckland region before moving to the U.S. I continued my optometric training in the Advanced Standing International Program at The New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2008. Thereafter I joined an ophthalmology practice specializing in pre- and post- operative care for LASIK and Cataract surgeries and during this time earned my Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification.
In 2010 I decided to go back into private practice as I enjoy the family practice setting and caring for patients of all ages. I am dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, therapeutic treatment of ocular diseases, and managing refractive and contact lens-related complications. I believe in providing the best care possible and taking the time to listen to my patient’s needs and wants. I enjoy frame styling too and often find myself helping patients choose the perfect pair of eyeglasses in our Carrollton optical. I take great pride in all aspects of the practice to ensure our patients have the best experience during their visit.
My energetic 3 year old son keeps my husband Rinesh and myself very busy outside of work. We enjoy socializing with friends and family as well as traveling internationally.
